After hearing Lin Qianhuan’s words, Lin Yixuan and Lin Wansheng unhesitatingly picked up their paper cups and drank them down.

Seeing their actions, Lin Qianhuan was a little surprised, “Aren’t you going to ask me what this is?”

Lin Yixuan crumpled the paper cup and casually tossed it into the trash can beside him, “You definitely wouldn’t harm us, what’s there to ask.”

No need for many words between siblings. He and Lin Wansheng were not unaware of Lin Qianhuan’s little secrets, but they didn’t want to delve into them.

As long as she was well, what did it matter if she kept things from them?

Huanhuan had already suffered enough in her previous life. Neither of them wanted to put any pressure on her in this life.

Lin Yixuan raised his finger and pointed to the kitchen, “The rice is almost cooked, you…”

Before he could finish speaking, he instantly collapsed on the sofa in pain. His slender knuckles turned faintly white from gripping too tightly, and the sofa armrest was almost deformed.

Lin Qianhuan raised her eyebrows and turned to look at Lin Wansheng, discovering that his situation wasn’t much better.

“A family should be together, nice and tidy.”

She chuckled and walked into the kitchen to stir the corn and rib soup simmering in the pot. The aroma wafted out, making her mouth water.

If the windows weren’t tightly closed, it would probably cause another uproar in the owners’ group.

Five minutes passed quickly. After Lin Qianhuan covered the pot, she saw her two brothers sitting somewhat blankly on the sofa, staring blankly at the corner of the wall.

She put the spoon aside and casually picked up a tomato, taking a bite.

“How is it? Do you feel like your bodies and abilities have been strengthened?”

Her eyes were bright, filled with obvious anticipation.

Lin Wansheng stood up with some difficulty. The burning pain seemed to linger in his bones, refusing to leave.

“I feel like I’m about to be cooked. Big brother, can you smell roasted meat?”

The named Lin Yixuan was still sitting blankly on the sofa. Only when he felt the slightly surging power within his body did he barely regain his senses.

“How long has it been?”

Lin Qianhuan blinked, “Five minutes.”

The two brothers exchanged disbelieving glances, and after a while, they got up and went to the kitchen to serve rice.

On the dining table was fragrant corn and rib soup, cola chicken wings, and a plate of stir-fried bok choy.

Lin Qianhuan stuffed a mouthful of rice into her mouth and, after observing their expressions, opened her mouth, “From now on, drink a cup every week. It’s very beneficial for your bodies and abilities.”

She knew the pain of the Spirit Spring water washing away impurities, but for the sake of the future, this bit of pain was nothing.

Lin Yixuan and Lin Wansheng weren’t the type to back down when faced with difficulties either. Although they were still a little afraid, they still nodded in agreement.

Apocalypse Day 10, March 6th.

A sudden rainstorm dispelled the accumulated warmth, bringing the barely risen temperature back down to single digits.

Lin Qianhuan stayed at home, too lazy to move, and slept until 10 a.m. before waking up leisurely.

She frowned as she looked at the fine raindrops pelting the window, lazily wrapping herself tighter in her cotton blanket.

Rainy days were best for catching up on sleep at home, leaving one with no energy whatsoever.

[A limited-time task has been issued: Please capture one live fish.]

[Task reward: Fish pond x1, system store opens fish fry classification module.]

Lin Qianhuan got out of bed somewhat confused, yawning slightly in pain.

“In this weather, you want me to go fishing?

Are you Spirit Spring Systems really that idle?”

The system ignored her complaints: [Please confirm whether the host accepts the task?]

Lin Qianhuan rolled her eyes, “Accept, I accept, okay?”

If she didn’t accept, the system would threaten her with the Spirit Spring and the warehouse again.

But she just happened to fall for that.

Lin Qianhuan went into the bathroom to take a hot shower. After getting dressed, she slowly walked down the stairs.

Because she didn’t have the energy to deal with animal waste and various kinds of garbage, Lin Qianhuan only raised a few low-maintenance chickens to pass the time.

Sprinkling some feed would get her a steady supply of eggs and fresh chicken, which was equivalent to a sure-fire profit.

But she never thought that she would have to specifically open up a pond in the Spirit Spring Space to raise fish.

Raising chickens was to add some vitality to the Spirit Spring Space, so that it wouldn’t be so lifeless. This was purely voluntary.

But raising fish was a task forced upon her by the system.

Lin Qianhuan was a little puzzled. Why would the system assign her such a perplexing task?

It wasn’t that she hadn’t tried to find out the system’s intentions for assigning her tasks, but no matter how much she thought about it, she couldn’t find any pattern in it. She could only Barbarously qualifying say that the system was testing her abilities.

But killing zombies to find crystal cores could be said to be testing her abilities, so what about raising fish?

Lin Qianhuan couldn’t figure it out, but she could only obediently carry her fishing rod and plan to go out.

“Huanhuan, what are you going to do?”

Lin Yixuan was sitting on the sofa reading a book. He looked up and saw the fishing rod on Lin Qianhuan’s back, feeling a little puzzled.

“Me? I’m going fishing. Big brother, do you want to go with me?”

Lin Yixuan waved his hand, “No, let your second brother go with you.

I’ll just take advantage of the rain to clean the house. Now I don’t have to save water.”

Lin Qianhuan shrugged. Both her big brother and second brother had severe OCD, but most of the water she had stored was for eating and drinking, so using it for cleaning seemed a bit extravagant.

Before it rained, the house was only cleaned with the tap water she had stored in advance.

Now that it had finally rained, her big brother would definitely not miss this good opportunity for a major cleaning.
