Liu Guanwen’s chest heaved violently, his emotions nearing collapse.

“You’ve wounded so many of our teammates with knives, even swarming us to steal our supplies. Do you really think we have no way to retaliate?

We have guns, and we’re all Superpower users. We’re not even afraid of the zombie hordes, how could we possibly lose to you?

We simply didn’t want to point our guns at our own kind.”

Lin Qianhuan stood aside, feeling a pang of bitterness, but also feeling that they were being taken advantage of.

But she wasn’t a soldier, and couldn’t understand the principles and promises they held in their hearts.

The glasses man kneeling before Liu Guanwen didn’t show a hint of remorse on his face, only a desire to survive.

These people never thought they were wrong.

The only reason they were kneeling and crying was because they were afraid, not because they were repentant.

A thin, pregnant woman squeezed out from the crowd. She was too thin, wearing only a soaked denim jacket that shivered slightly in the cold.

Next came the elderly, the children…

They all knelt down, following behind the glasses man, admitting their mistakes and apologizing, looking as if they had long since repented and realized their errors.

But back then, they used their status as a vulnerable group to shield those executioners as they left.

They were simply relying on the fact that these soldiers had humanity and principles, and wouldn’t easily attack the old, weak, sick, and disabled.

How ridiculous.

Lin Qianhuan kicked the glasses man away, walked out with Lin Yixuan and Jiang Xing, and closed the security door.

Soldiers have principles, their own convictions, and their own beliefs.

But she had nothing, only a pair of hands stained with blood.

“If it weren’t for you causing trouble, that high-level zombie in Yuncheng would have been dealt with long ago.

I wouldn’t have had to come to Bihai Huafu in the rain to save people.

You endangered all the survivors in Yuncheng with your own actions. How can you not pay a price?”

Lin Qianhuan approached with her Tang blade, but no matter how much these people crowded and pushed, none could break through the barrier.

At that moment, a thin boy ran out, raised his hand to hug Lin Qianhuan’s leg, crying hoarsely.

“Sister, please let us go, please!

We really know we were wrong, my mom and dad are dead, please let me go for their sake.

I’ll change, I really will change!”

He cried with snot and tears, but the shape of a kitchen knife could be seen outlined behind his waist.

He was the one who cut Lu Jiasheng.

“You want to use the same trick again?”

Lin Qianhuan chuckled, finding it utterly ridiculous as she watched him cry while reaching behind him for the knife.

“I’m not a soldier, they save people, but I only kill people.”

She reached out and grabbed the boy’s neck, dragging him to the window of the stairwell.

“The only group of people who would believe your lies have almost been killed by you.

Do you think anyone else in the apocalypse will treat children preferentially?”

She yanked the window open, dragging him by the neck and throwing him down.

The small body crashed into the water, still creating a considerable splash.

Before he could thrash twice, the zombie horde in the water devoured him completely, and the surface of the water was faintly stained red, before disappearing in an instant.

“Who’s next? Or should I pick you?”

Lin Qianhuan smiled as she walked towards the crowd, sending a shiver down their spines.

“You like to act old and entitled, don’t you?

Didn’t you want to take every advantage?

Weren’t you the first to rush in and steal the clearing team’s supplies?

This time, I’ll let you go first.”

The old woman was dragged to the window by Lin Qianhuan, struggling frantically, but her old bones were no match for the strength of an Superpower user.

She was thrown downstairs, and before she could even scream, she was devoured by sharp fangs and claws from below the surface.

Only wisps of white hair were left on the surface of the water, swaying slightly with the waves.

Having dealt with another person, Lin Qianhuan was in a good mood. Her gaze settled on the glasses man, and she suddenly had a good idea.

“Didn’t you want to use Silver Bay Gardens as your granary?

I’ll let you experience what it feels like to be a zombie’s granary.”

She used her mental tentacles to bind the glasses man, fixing him half a meter above the surface of the water.

The zombies surged wildly, their claws popping out of the water, each time tearing off a piece of his bloody flesh.

But he couldn’t die.

He could only watch as the zombies bit by bit, mouthful by mouthful, ate him until only a skeleton remained.

Lin Qianhuan smiled happily, sitting on the windowsill and clapping her hands in celebration: “Good!”

Only when there was no flesh left on the glasses man’s body did she release her mental tentacles. The incomplete skeleton fell into the water, again causing a horde of zombies to fight over it.

“Who’s next?”

Her gaze searched the crowd, provoking a wave of tremors.

“What are you afraid of? Weren’t you afraid when you hacked that clearing team member to death?

Weren’t you very excited then?

Weren’t you also happy when you were dividing the supplies?

Why are you starting to be afraid and cry now?”

Lin Qianhuan tapped her knee lightly with her fingertip, the smile on her face becoming more and more bright and moving.

“Oh~

Because now I am the knife, and you, are just the sheep waiting to be slaughtered on the chopping board.”

She smoothed her slightly disheveled hair and nodded towards Jiang Xing.

“Get rid of them. Three people are enough to feed the zombies, throwing them all down would be too cheap for those monsters.”

Jiang Xing received the order, weaving a dense electric net with his fingertips, enveloping the group of people who were trying to escape from top to bottom.
