Standing by the window, Lin Qianhuan looked outside. The corpses that had been thrown in front of Villa 44 had already been devoured by zombies, leaving only brownish-red, dried bloodstains on the ground.

Lin Qianhuan raised her hand and tapped her chin, a mischievous smile tugging at the corners of her lips.

She had never been a good person. Seeking revenge was ingrained in her bones. Therefore, she wouldn’t let off any of those who ganged up in the owners’ group to speak ill of her.

How should she get her revenge?

Lin Qianhuan took out a hammer from her space and weighed it in her hand.

It was heavy, and should be quite handy for smashing doors and windows, right?

She curled her lips into a smile, but the smile was mixed with malice.

Night fell quickly, and the dark night swallowed the last trace of light in Yuncheng. Every household was silent, afraid of making the slightest noise that would disturb the monsters foraging outside.

Lin Qianhuan observed the surroundings of the villa through the night vision function of the surveillance camera. They were just ordinary level-one zombies.

As long as she ran fast enough, they wouldn’t be able to hurt her.

01, 14, 25.

Lin Qianhuan carefully considered the locations of these villas. Together with Lin Wansheng, she took advantage of the cover of night to leave Villa 36, while Lin Yixuan stayed behind to guard the house and observe the movements of the zombies outside.

Villa 25 was directly behind Villa 36, so it became Lin Qianhuan’s first target.

The two climbed over the railings and walls nimbly, arriving outside a window on the first floor of the villa.

The curtains were drawn tightly, with a warm light flickering inside from a candle.

Lin Qianhuan took out the hammer from her space and slammed it heavily against the glass. Without much force, the window shattered into a spiderweb pattern.

Countless shards of glass fell to the ground. Zombies came following the sound, but they were blocked by the iron railings outside the villa yard.

They stretched their sharp claws through the gaps in the railings, their withered and decaying heads trying to squeeze into the yard, but they could only look on unwillingly as the delicious meal was just out of reach and roared.

The female owner of Villa 25, Liu Fenfen, also known as SpringWarmWillowGreen in the group, was so frightened by the sound of the hammer hitting the window that she fell to the ground.

“Who is it! Are the zombies here! Have the zombies climbed in!”

She was so scared that her legs went weak. Ignoring the fallen slippers, she climbed barefoot to the second floor, but she couldn’t muster any strength.

Lin Qianhuan stood outside the window listening to her desperate screams, without hesitation smashed all the windows on the first floor, and thoughtfully destroyed the gate lock of the villa yard. The zombies found a breakthrough and instantly poured into the villa yard.

She tossed an alarm clock into the villa on the first floor. The ringing sound attracted the attention of all the zombies, buying her and Lin Wansheng time to escape.

The two followed the empty road to the remaining two villas. They repeated their trick, damaging their doors and windows, and then slipped back to Villa 36.

Lin Qianhuan hurriedly ran to the rooftop, listening to the terrified screams coming from Villa 25, and felt completely refreshed.

Didn’t they like to shout in the group?

Then let them shout enough.

With the yard gate and the windows on the first floor destroyed, the survival range of the three villas was reduced to the second floor and above, separated from the bloodthirsty zombies by only a thin wooden door.

The more panicked they were, the louder the sounds they made, and the more excited the wandering zombies became.

The phone began to vibrate, and messages in the owners’ group popped out like they didn’t cost money.

【33 WorldPeace: What’s going on? Which house is screaming so miserably?】

【26 Sheep Village One Flower: Villa 25 and 14, right? Tsk tsk, they shouted loudly in the group, didn’t expect their voices in real life to be so loud too.】

【20 ColorfulClouds: And Villa 1. I secretly peeked through the curtains, and it seems that the windows and yard gate on the first floor were broken. The zombies poured into her house, it was so tragic.】

【48 ShitOnZombieHead: Damn, if I remember correctly, these three families all provoked Villa 36, right?】

As soon as he said this, the group instantly fell silent, and no one dared to mention it again.

So, Villa 36 wasn’t just talking tough during the day, she really did what she said, and really gave these three families a big gift.

For a time, everyone in the villa area felt insecure and began to examine whether they had made any remarks in the group that were unfavorable to Villa 36.

Who would dare to look for trouble?

Unless they wanted someone to smash their windows and destroy their yard gate in the middle of the night, and become neighbors with zombies separated by a wooden door.

Lin Qianhuan stretched and comfortably lay back on her big bed to rest.

One night passed, some people slept soundly until dawn, while others were immersed in terror all night, their dark circles looking like they had been hammered on, and couldn’t be eliminated at all.

Zhao Moyun trembled and pressed himself against the bedroom door, carefully eavesdropping on the sounds outside.

The stiff dragging footsteps of the zombies had disappeared, and even the roars had stopped, perhaps led away by other noises.

Only then did he breathe a sigh of relief, and slumped against the corner of the wall, trembling as he opened the owners’ group chat.

There weren’t many messages, but he could see clearly that it wasn’t just his family that had suffered last night.

Everyone who had provoked Villa 36 was spared.

His wife tightly hugged their sleeping son, her eyes full of resentment.

She lowered her voice and said, “It’s all your fault. You knew those three people were not to be trifled with, but you insisted on running into the line of fire.

Now what? What do we do? There are zombies outside the door, and the remaining food and water are stored in the kitchen on the first floor. But with so many zombies in the yard, how are we going to live!”

As she spoke, she couldn’t help but shed tears, looking at her sleeping child in her arms with heartache, her eyes full of despair.

Zhao Moyun was frightened and lost his mind. His eyes were dull, and he murmured, “I don’t know, I thought she wouldn’t dare, I thought she wouldn’t dare.”

The people in Villa 1 and Villa 25 were also forced to hide in the bedrooms or even the studies. No matter how much they regretted it, it was useless.

They just wanted to vent their mouths, who would have thought they would cause such a disaster.

Lin Qianhuan naturally didn’t care how these families were doing. She was eating the steamed egg custard that her second brother had just made when her phone suddenly received a text message notification.

【Hello, fellow citizens, the government will be conducting an airdrop of supplies at 2 pm today. If needed, please pick them up yourselves.

Please pay attention to your own safety, avoid close contact with zombies, and be careful to prevent virus infection.】

Lin Yixuan leaned over to look, and then shook his phone.

“I received it too. I guess Yuncheng will be facing a new turmoil this afternoon.”

Everyone wants supplies, but whether they can grab them depends on luck, and whether they can bring them home and eat them depends on strength.

Lin Qianhuan turned off the screen of her phone: “We have abundant supplies, so we won’t wade into this muddy water. Let them grab it.”

Lin Yixuan and Lin Wansheng also meant the same thing. They didn’t need to put themselves in danger for the sake of mere supplies.

The news spread quickly. Although many people’s phones had long run out of power, the news that supplies were about to be dropped was not blocked, but spread through various channels.
