“Brave warriors, you are about to reach the destination of the second level. This is a swamp. Only warriors who walk out of the swamp will be considered to have successfully passed the level. Please note that food and water on the plane are not allowed to be taken off the plane. Please prepare to jump from the helicopter,” the host’s voice echoed again in the transport cabin.

I didn’t find the host in the transport cabin, but I saw a small speaker installed on the cabin’s ceiling. I guessed his voice came from there.

When the helicopter was only three or four meters above the swamp, the cabin door opened automatically.

“The cabin door is open, please jump from the helicopter in order,” the host’s voice came from the small speaker on the ceiling again.

“Thump, thump, thump—”

We jumped into the swamp one after another, splashing mud and water.

As soon as this transport helicopter flew away, three small drones flew over, hovering above, to the left front, and to the right front of us respectively.

After everyone jumped into the swamp, they didn’t pay attention to each other, but went their own way.

I was the last one to jump out of the helicopter.

When I jumped down, I found that this swamp was boundless, and I couldn’t see the edge at all.

Although the six people who jumped down first went their own way, these six people were roughly heading in three different directions.

Three people were roughly walking towards my left front, two people were walking towards my right front, and one person was walking in the direction behind me.

To get out of this vast swamp, it’s best to have a companion, so I decided to follow the direction of the three people.

After we walked for tens of meters, I heard a scream from behind.

I turned around and saw that the body of the person who had been walking in the opposite direction from us was entangled by a very thick snake. The snake was slowly dragging him into the swamp.

It was too late for me to save him. I was nearly a hundred meters away from him.

Walking in the swamp was already difficult, and it was impossible to run quickly like on land. I could only watch him being dragged into the swamp, finally leaving a few bubbles.

The three people walking in front of me stopped and witnessed the scene that had just happened.

“What a long python!” one person said.

“That’s not a python. Pythons are only three meters long at most. This snake is seven or eight meters long, and it’s very thick. It should be a water boa. The water boa is the longest and thickest of the snakes,” another person said.

These two people were speaking English, which I understood.

I knew that this kind of snake is mainly distributed in the tropical river areas of South America, especially common in swamps.

Our country doesn’t have a suitable environment for water boas to survive, so I haven’t seen water boas in China.

The three people in front might have realized something, and the distance between the three of them narrowed a bit, and I followed closely behind them.

This swamp is sometimes like a lake, sometimes like hills, and sometimes barren and scorched yellow.

As I walked forward, I often saw crocodiles lurking in the swamp.

Although their bodies are hidden in the swamp, their eyes, ears, and nostrils are on top of their heads, all exposed outside the swamp, which is very conspicuous.

We walked for a long time and were a little tired, so we gradually relaxed our vigilance.

At this moment, one person walking on the left outer side suddenly screamed.

He had just been attacked by a crocodile, and one of his legs was bitten in the crocodile’s mouth.

I was the first to run over, but stood aside, not knowing how to help.

“Hit its eyes and nose hard,” shouted a person who came to help.

Hearing this person’s guidance, I followed his advice and slammed the crocodile’s eyes and nose hard. It worked. The crocodile was in so much pain that it immediately opened its mouth and turned around to escape.

This crocodile was less than three meters long and not very large, but its tail was very long, accounting for half of its body, and its mouth was shorter than that of ordinary crocodiles.

We surrounded this person and checked his injuries. He was not seriously injured, only superficial wounds.

This person took a handful of swamp mud and rubbed it on his bleeding leg. After thanking us, he continued to walk forward with us.

It gradually got dark, and the four of us unknowingly walked together.

Although everyone was tired and hungry, they never stopped, after all, the swamp was full of dangers, not a place where we could sit down and rest.

Here, the days are long and the nights are short. We hadn’t walked long in the dark when it dawned.

In the distance, we saw a jungle ahead.

Hungry, we stood at the junction of the swamp and the jungle, waving to the three small drones above our heads.

These three small drones were all equipped with cameras and were following us all the way.

After we waited for a while, a helicopter flew over.

We thought it would take us to the next destination, but unexpectedly, it suddenly opened fire on us, and one person fell instantly.

The incident happened suddenly, and we were all stunned.

Then, another person was shot and fell.

I and another person reacted immediately and ran into the jungle.

This is a tropical rainforest, with tall and lush trees, blocking out the sky and the sun.

The unmanned helicopter couldn’t fly in or scout us.

The other person and I ran for a while, then stopped.

This was a dark-skinned person. He ran first in the first level. I didn’t ask his name, but directly called him “Hey”.

Now, the most important thing for us is to find water and food.

Water was found quickly.

“Hey” pointed to the trees in front of me and said, “Did you see the bowls of water on the trees?”

“Bowls? Where are the bowls?”

A plant was epiphytic on those branches, and they used their roots to firmly fix themselves on the branches.

I approached a branch that was not far from the ground and looked closely. I saw that the leaves of this plant were tightly overlapped, forming a bowl-shaped space, and the bowl was indeed full of rainwater.

We put our mouths to these bowls and sucked greedily.

“When we were sitting in the transport helicopter, didn’t the host say in the small speaker that as long as we walked out of the swamp, we would successfully pass the level? How can they be so untrustworthy and despicable? How can they shoot the contestants again and again? What kind of dogshit World Warrior Championship is this?” After drinking the water, I couldn’t help but vent.

“Why did you participate in this Warrior Championship?” I asked the person beside me in English, looking at him.

“The people who participate in this competition are all death row inmates in prison. Anyway, we are all going to die. If we can successfully pass the level, we can regain our freedom,” the person said coldly.

At this moment, I seemed to hear something ringing behind me. I turned around and saw that it was two small drones equipped with cameras.

I picked up a stone from the ground and was about to throw it at a drone when “Hey” stopped me.
