" Glide Through Mysterious Dimensions "

The safe was filled with a large amount of cash and gold bars, nothing else. Clearly, Míng Xīng Yě… was a very cautious person.

Coincidentally, Hēi Mù Nài was smoking outside a private room. He slowly walked towards her, leaning against the wall outside the room. “Got a light?” he asked casually.

Zuǒ Yú took a drag of his cigarette, calmly saying, “Have Míng Xīng Yě come see me, or… I’ll go find her.”

“Sir! Am I not being clear enough? We can’t accommodate you today.”

“One hour. I’ll wait for her downstairs.” Zuǒ Yú said to himself, glancing contemptuously, throwing the cigarette butt on the ground and crushing it before turning and walking downstairs.

Once Zuǒ Yú’s figure had completely disappeared from the second floor, Hēi Mù Nài nervously picked at her fingernails, pacing back and forth outside the private room. She dialed Míng Xīng Yě’s number.

“Hello…” Míng Xīng Yě’s weak voice came through.

“How’s the injury?” Hēi Mù Nài asked hesitantly, hearing the weak voice.

“I’m fine…” There was silence on the other end of the line. Míng Xīng Yě seemed to realize there was a problem, and her voice came again, “What’s wrong?”

“He wants to see me?” Míng Xīng Yě immediately guessed the purpose of the call.

Her hand gently touched her gunshot wound on her chest. Lóng Qiányī, who was beside her, put his arm around her shoulder and said resolutely, “Where is it? I’ll go for you.”

“No, I forgot that to him, I’m supposed to be dead. It’ll expose my identity.”

“But you’re exposing your identity by going now too.”

…

The bar’s lighting was so strange that it made people’s eyes blurry. That coarse, shallow feeling of droplets falling into a glass filled with amber liquor, a feeling of quick, gradual sinking. Zuǒ Yú’s well-defined fingers tapped against the glass, as if calculating the time.

Zuǒ Yú’s deep eyes met her lively eyes. Míng Xīng Yě’s eyes curved into crescents, and she asked softly, “Looking for me?”

He sized her up, his gaze finally settling on her heart. He drained the whiskey in his glass, grabbed her wrist, and strode out of Twilight. The person behind him frowned slightly, but he didn’t notice…

“Let go, let go!” She pushed him away with all her might. The pain of the wound tearing open made her break out in a cold sweat.

Almost without a pause, Zuǒ Yú pulled off her coat and roughly pulled at her collar, about to unzip it. Míng Xīng Yě hurriedly held his hand, her brows furrowed. “What are you doing?”

“Applying medicine.” He replied calmly, simply. The smell of alcohol filled the car.

“It’s not what you think.” Míng Xīng Yě gripped her coat tightly, carefully observing Zuǒ Yú.

“What’s the point? I can’t be one.”

“So… you’re happy to be with the murderers who killed your sister?”

“I don’t have a sister.”

“Then what are you going to do?”

“Hand you over to Shí Jiǎnbái.”

Zuǒ Yú’s smile deepened. He spoke viciously, “When I’ve caught the Poker Gang in one fell swoop, I’ll personally take you to her grave to atone.”

…

In the Secluded Garden Villa, Lóng Qiányī quietly nestled on the sofa, constantly playing with his phone in his hand. Time passed second by second, but he didn’t move his position, his mind deep, his expression very serious.

Míng Xīng Yě awkwardly returned his hug, her voice soft, “What’s wrong?”

“Worried about you.”

“I’m fine…”

“What did you talk about?”

“It’s Little Guǐ… I’m only responsible for conveying the message.”

“Tell me, what’s the plan?”
