At 9:30 AM, Qixing Pier. Fifteen people had gathered at the pier. Zuǒ Yú, wearing a black duckbill cap and a black cotton-padded windbreaker without any decorations, lightly joined the group.

Zuǒ Yú looked around. He recognized five of the fifteen people: Xīn Zǐmò, Luó Xiàngyuǎn, Huáng Tíngguǎng, Shí Yánsheng, and Lóng Qiányī.

Zuǒ Yú had never expected to see Shí Yánsheng among the participants. He only nodded slightly, while also noticing that Xīn Zǐmò in the back row seemed to be deliberately avoiding his gaze. Why would she be here?

As a loud horn sounded, Shí Jiǎnbái, wearing a similar dark blue cotton-padded windbreaker to Zuǒ Yú and carrying a huge hiking bag, rushed to the pier. The last player arrived, and all seventeen players were gathered. Shí Jiǎnbái raised his eyebrows at Zuǒ Yú, giving a smug smile, and then nodded to Luó Xiàngyuǎn and Huáng Tíngguǎng as a greeting. When he caught sight of Xīn Zǐmò, he paused slightly, but quickly looked away, acting as if it was none of his business.

“You seem to have brought quite a lot,” Zuǒ Yú’s lips curled into a smile, his tone slightly teasing.

“You have to say, the organizers designed this part of the process quite thoughtfully,” a man said, taking the lead in putting his luggage in the designated area.

Shí Yánsheng, filled with pride, followed suit and threw his backpack into the area, “Of course, Wēi Áng has always valued player experience.”

When the others heard that he was from Wēi Áng, the unease in their hearts was dispelled. They listened obediently and followed suit, putting away their luggage and then boarding the ship. Shí Jiǎnbái was clearly hesitant, but Zuǒ Yú directly snatched his bag, threw it in, and said, “It’s quite heavy.”

“Xīn Zǐmò, Xīn Rán’s sister,” Zuǒ Yú said calmly, and continued, “She was also at the warehouse the night we caught Spade J.”

“What? Is it possible that she, like us, received a text message from the Poker Gang’s mastermind?” Shí Jiǎnbái was shocked and a little incredulous.

“Yeah… find an opportunity to confirm.”

“Oh my god, this is too desolate!”

“Why is it so cold!”

“The fog is too thick. This island really feels like a zombie invasion.”

“Is it safe? It’s so eerie!”

“Sounds quite interesting!”

“Has the game started now? I don’t feel anything special.”

“Our luggage hasn’t been given to us yet! How has it started?”

“Hey! Give us our luggage!” Luó Xiàngyuǎn shouted at the broadcast, but there was no response.
