PF Chapter 3
by REX-NOVELISTS“Hi, you will still be, my friend.”
Zhang Ze looked up at him, a pair of bloodshot eyes close to my face.
“Don’t come over, get away.”
Zhang Ze retreated backward but was grabbed by the shoulder, unable to move.
Just as I resigned myself, a bell rang.
Immediately afterward, the restraint on my shoulder disappeared. I looked at him and found he had fallen.
His body seemed to fall apart, the surface bubbling and frothing.
Zhang Ze sat in place, watching him, gasping for breath.
The room darkened in an instant, with red light filtering through. I saw the figure on the ground stop twitching.
Grabbing the quilt next to him, he jumped out of the window. Rushing into the car, luckily he hadn’t removed the keys.
Zhang Ze directly drove the car through the guardrail and rushed out, looking at the surrounding scenery, I felt a deep despair.
The world was shrouded in a strange moonlight, and shadows looked in my direction from all around.
Those closer could be seen as devils from Sky Prison, looking at me with the same eyes as Li Xiao.
Some had bizarre features, with three eyes, eyes and mouths switched positions, and even some with three legs.
The moment they met my eyes, I could feel their excitement.
It was as if a woman who had been single for ten years saw a sexy man waving at her.
“What the hell is happening to this world?”
At Zhang Ze’s moment of despair, he turned on the radio he had turned off in the car, hoping to get some information.
But the only response was a buzzing electrical sound. I repeatedly tuned the channels, but it was still the same.
Frustrated, I hit the radio with my hand, venting my collapsing emotions, but didn’t pay attention to the road behind me.
When I reacted, it was too late. The car broke through the roadside barrier and plunged straight down.
“Pfft.” The car was wrecked, and I was killed in the rush of the airbag.
However, the car landed in a forest, and a huge branch pierced through the car body, stabbing into my chest.
Zhang Ze felt his life rapidly draining away. The moon disappeared, sunlight shone on his face, and the sound of the radio became clear at this moment.
“Don’t look at the moon. It’s all fake. According to the world, it’s daytime, but the moon hasn’t disappeared.”
“Therefore, the moon is real. Here, we find that the moon, like Pseudo-Humans, causes cognitive errors in people.”
“We can’t know what it is, because everyone who looks directly at the moon is lost.”
“The above is the light disaster area with a known number of lost people.”
“Jin Kui Town, west of Di Town and the central area of Manchester.”
“Please remember that anyone exposed outside will definitely not have any chance of survival.”
“Absolutely not.”
“Pfft.” Zhang Ze spat out a mouthful of blood. He was going to die. Everything was like fate. Nothing could be changed.
Soon, his heartbeat stopped, and Zhang Ze stopped thinking.
A figure went to Zhang Ze’s face, gradually changing shape…”
…
The night watchman found him.
“There seems to be someone.” Hearing this, the two men beside him each took out a loudspeaker from their arms.
The loudspeakers were wrapped in metal cages. They also took out a remote control, pressed the button, and a deep voice sounded.
“He’s not responding. Not a Pseudo-Human.”
Several people pulled Zhang Ze out and checked his injuries.
“Look!” Hearing the call of his companion, the other two men looked over.
They saw Ouyang Yu open the car door, a skeleton sitting in the passenger seat.
The three gasped. Even though it wasn’t the first corpse they had encountered, they had never seen such a tragedy before.
The skeleton still had bright red flesh on it, covered with torn marks.
The right leg bone was broken directly, revealing the empty center, and the marrow had been drained.
The skeleton’s body had many damages, looking like it had undergone cruel treatment before death.
Seeing this cruel scene, Ouyang Yu decisively said, “Let’s get out of here. It’s not safe.”
After Ouyang Yu gave Zhang Ze medicine, she had Ouyang En, who was watching from the side, carry him.
The group reported to the higher-ups that this was currently the only person outside who was still alive.
So, they received the order to bring the person down so they could get information about the Pseudo-Humans.
Before sunset, they arrived at their destination, the Underground Huge Experimental Base.
“2025?” Zhang Ze repeatedly confirmed. After receiving a definite answer, he fell silent.
You should know that when you had the car accident, it was still September 2024. After lying there for a month, there were still two months missing.
According to them, it meant that I had been lying there for two months.
Walking in the corridor, you found that different from the safety in your ward, there were all kinds of wailing sounds all around.
From time to time, there were sounds of crying like wolves.
After saying that, they stopped in front of a door. It was an iron door, very thick. I would believe it if you said it was a bank vault.
She put her hand below it, then took the huge iron block under the door and smashed it hard against the door.
“Boom.”
After the door closed, she walked in with him.
On the wall were some guns and countless black boxes.
Since the last riot in City name base, all similar mentally disturbed people and unknown figures have been escorted and given certain protective measures.
Zhang Ze looked at it. It was about the City name base riot.
They found that some of these people would help the Pseudo-Humans at all costs.
If many of these people weren’t close relatives of people in the base, they would have wanted to empty the city and euthanize everyone.
